The colours of the skin of a 10 million year old Spanish snake have been discovered from its colourless fossil remains by scientists at University College Cork (UCC).

A BEES graduate is named Young Author of the Year by the Journal of the Geological Society.

Ireland will be viewed by countries across the globe as a leader in sustainable water management with the launch of the GEMS/Water Capacity Development Centre at UCC last Friday (January 22).

University College Cork has been ranked fourth in the world in a list of the world's most sustainable universities, achieving the highest result in Ireland.
