Weekend Highlights
Last weekend, four of our six teams were in action while Div 1 and Div 7 enjoyed a training day to stay sharp.
- Women’s Division 3A
A strong start against Ashton in tough conditions saw goals from Aimee McSweeney, Isabella Egar, Sophie Pomeroy, and Eve O’Shea.
Final Score: 4–1
After three games, UCC sit 2nd in the table on goal difference. - Women’s Division 3B
An under-strength side traveled to Limerick and fell 3–0 to the league leaders. The focus now is to secure Division 3 status after last year’s promotion. - Men’s Team
A huge 3–1 win away to Catholic Institute with a 13-man panel. Confidence is high heading into Christmas. Currently 7th, but with games in hand. - Women’s Division 2
Bounced back from IJC defeat with a 3–2 victory over Cork Harlequins.
Player of the Match: Suzie Uniacke Lowe
With 18 points from 6 games, they remain top of the table and will be hard to catch.
