A Weekend of Mixed Fortunes but Outstanding Performances Across the Club
Women’s Division 3A – Saturday 10:30am vs Ashton
UCC continued their exceptional league form with a 3–1 win over Ashton.
- Ashton opened the scoring in the 4th minute.
- Isabelle Egar equalised in the 10th minute.
- A tight contest stayed level until late goals from:

- Kirsten Browne (68')
UCC now sit dominant at the top of Division 3A with 30 points from 10 games (10/10 wins).
Second placed Limerick—strong earlier in the season—are struggling with injuries and recent losses. With four matches left (C of I, Harlequins, Bandon, Limerick), UCC need just one more win to clinch the title.
Irish Senior Cup – UCC vs Catholic Institute
A high-tempo, physical battle saw UCC exit the cup after a 1–2 defeat.
- CIAC scored early in the 5th minute.
- Micaela Sanderson responded quickly for UCC.
- A tightly contested match was decided in the 46th minute with a second CIAC goal.
Despite a brave finish, UCC couldn’t find the equaliser.
Men’s Munster Division 2 – UCC vs Ashton
A game of two very different halves ended in a 2–4 loss.
- UCC trailed 0–4 at halftime after a poor opening spell.

Women’s Division 1 – Sunday 10:30am vs Ashton
A commanding performance gave UCC a 6–0 victory.

Women’s Division 2 – UCC vs Clonmel
A solid 4–1 win against a challenging Clonmel side.

With two games remaining (Harlequins, Belvedere), UCC maintain a flawless 12/12 wins and 60 goals. Another league title is already secured.
Women’s Division 3B – UCC vs Limerick
A huge result in the relegation battle: 3–2 win over 2nd‑place Limerick.
