Bridging the LEAP2 obesity: A mechanistic exploration of a novel gut-brain pathway at the interface of eating behaviour and stress.
His project objectives are to explore the role of the gut microbiome for LEAP2 signalling, and how LEAP2 in turn affects the neurobiological mechanisms that control eating behaviours, specifically stress- and depression-induced eating behaviours.
His project focuses on the global challenge -Sustainable development goal 3 for non-communicable diseases specifically SDG 3.4
