Fossil trails of marine animals that lived during the Carboniferous period over 300 million years ago. The prominent curved lines are feeding trails that could have been made by worms, snails or crustaceans. 

 

Fun Fact

The Liscannor flagstone from Co. Clare which contains these fossils has been used extensively for street paving throughout Ireland since the 19th century. It was commonly used in the traditional Irish cottage.
