What is the exhibit like?
The palaeontologists behind Ireland’s Fossil Heritage deliver an interactive fossil exhibit at a diverse range of festivals and events all over the country. The Fossil Crime Scene exhibit includes a variety of fun hands-on activities and educational games that will offer you the opportunity to handle and learn all about real Irish fossils!

- Explore and handle our collection of Irish fossils
- Find out how to recognise common Irish fossils yourself
- Help to solve our fossil crime scene and learn how to spot clues in rocks
- Talk to real palaeontologists about their fossil work or about the fossils on display
- Bring a fossil of your own for us to look at and identify
