Exploring on-farm duckweed ponds with a site visit at a Clonmel farm.
Today Grace O'Sullivan and Cian Redmond visited a farm in the Clonmel area to discuss the possibilities of growing duckweed with the farmer. In the presence of Duck-Feed's principal investigator, Prof. Marcel Jansen, they explored the farm.

Discussions centred on the role duckweed could play in cleaning up wastewater on the farm, and the requirements for growing duckweed successfully. We will be watching the developments of the duckweed ponds with interest...
