Duckweed Forum Issue 44
The latest issue of the Duckweed Forum newsletter has been published by the International Steering Committee on Duckweed Research and Applications (ISCDRA).
The newsletter brings together articles about duckweed, from the latest research discoveries, progress on applications as well as an overview of the latest publications and developments. In this issue amongst others an article on the November mission to the International Space Station which brought duckweed into space as astronaut food, a description of the new European Duckweed Network, a student spotlight and a summary of duckweed-related scientific publications.
One of the articles in the spotlight is the publication by Dr Neil Coughlan from UCC and his co-authors entitled "On the rise: Development of a multi-tiered, indoor duckweed cultivation system". This paper can be found in full at the follwoing link: https://doi.org/10.1002/wer.10964 (open access)
