Celebrating the Graduates of Ireland’s Best Master’s Programme

On March 26, 2025, the MSc in Sustainable Development, Agri-Food and Co-operatives at University College Cork celebrated the graduation of 15 students, marking a significant milestone in their academic and professional journeys. The programme, which was awarded Best Master’s Programme in Ireland at the 2024 Irish Education Awards, continues to equip graduates with the expertise to lead in sustainable development, agri-food innovation, and co-operative enterprise.

The graduation ceremony was a proud moment for both students and faculty, with lecturers from the Centre for Co-operative Studies and the Department of Food Business and Development in attendance. Their presence reflected the strong sense of mentorship and community that defines the programme.

As these graduates embark on their careers, they join a growing network of professionals committed to advancing sustainable and co-operative practices across industries. Their achievements highlight the ongoing impact of this unique, forward-thinking programme in shaping the future of the agri-food and co-operative sectors.
