Dr Rossana Henriques,
Coordinator and Co-PI

Paddy O'Keeffe Senior Lecturer in Plant Genetics at the School of BEES, UCC.
Rossana interested in characterising how circadian-mediated seasonal perception controls plant growth and development. Her team uses model species such as Arabidopsis thaliana as well as forage crops such as perennial ryegrass and white clover to assess how a changing climate will impact food security worldwide.

Dr Fidelma Butler Co-PI

Fidelma Butler is a senior lecturer in the School of Biological Earth and Environmental Sciences at University College Cork. Fidelma has a PhD from University College Dublin (NUI).


Fidelma's interests include applied mammal and insect ecology with current and recent work on hares at airports and the interaction of pollinating insects and clover flowers; small mammal ecology and behaviour (rodents and hedgehogs); transport ecology; urban ecology; invasive species (coypu, Asian hornet)

Dr Michelle Mc Keown

Michelle is passionate about protecting our environment and maintaining a healthy world. Her interests include understanding how ecosystems respond to changes in climate and anthropogenic activities, along with understanding how we can work with nature to enhance climate action.
