Trauma Resuscitation Anaesthesiology at ASSERT
ASSERT Centre proudly hosted the first Trauma Resuscitation Anaesthesiology Course, offering anaesthetic teams an immersive, high-fidelity simulation experience to enhance trauma management and decision-making skills. With support from Medguard, Decent Simulators, and expert faculty from Cork University Hospital and the UK, the course successfully combined technical training with complex scenario-based learning.
Yesterday, we were proud to host the inaugural Trauma Resuscitation Anaesthesiology Course at ASSERT Centre!
This specialised course, aimed at anaesthetic teams, provided an immersive learning experience with high-fidelity simulation to sharpen critical trauma management skills. With support from Medguard and Decent Simulators to provide the morning skills based sessions, participants then tackled complex simulated trauma scenarios, combining the days work to enhance both technical proficiency and decision-making in real-time.
We were fortunate to have an outstanding faculty team from Cork University Hospital (CUH) and from the UK, whose insights and expertise were invaluable in making this course a success.
