Enterprise Ireland Innovation Partnership Programme
A key role of Enterprise Ireland (EI) is to support innovation and the commercialisation of research into business. The Innovation Partnership Programme is a hugely impactful venture which encourages Irish-based companies to work with Irish research institutes for mutually beneficial engagement, creating an innovative ecosystem that delivers impactful change.
Company Size: Any client of EI, IDA or ÚnG
Typical Project Size: 20% cas contribution from industry partner

SFI Strategic Partnership Programme
The SFI Strategic Partnership Programme is a flexible mechanism for academic researchers to build strategic collaborations with key stakeholders such as industry, other funding agencies, charities, philanthropic organisations, higher education institutes (HEIs), or a combination of any of these. The scheme aims to support stand-alone research initiatives of scale with strong potential for delivering economic and societal impact to Ireland, in partnership with key stakeholders.
Company Size: Companies with sufficient financial capacity

SFI Research Centres - Spokes
The SFI Spokes programme is a vehicle to enable the addition of new industrial and academic partners and projects to existing SFI Research Centres, allowing the Centre(s) to expand and develop in line with new priorities and opportunities, and enhances the ability of SFI Research Centres to deliver significant economic and societal impact for Ireland.
The Spokes programme also provides a vehicle to link together, in a meaningful and relevant way, SFI Research Centres, and helps to link researchers in partnerships across academia, industry and other co-funding partners, to address crucial research questions, contributing to Ireland’s economy through fostering development of indigenous companies and attracting FDI, together with addressing research questions of national societal importance.

Enterprise Ireland Innovation Vouchers
Innovation is essential to stay ahead in competitive and fast-changing markets. If you lack the time or know-how to develop the innovative solutions to set your business apart, Enterprise Ireland Innovation Vouchers can help. With this programme, SMEs can build connections with Ireland and Northern Ireland’s publicly funded Knowledge Providers (i.e. higher education institutes, public research bodies) to explore business problems and uncover opportunities.

Typical Project Size: Up to €10,000 on a 50:50 co-funded basis
