The Drug Delivery and Pharmaceutical Innovation group develops advanced technologies to improve how medicines are formulated and administered. Research includes creating long acting delivery systems for eye diseases, stabilising peptides and proteins, using three dimensional printing to produce customised therapies and modelling diseases in vitro to test new treatments.

Dr Rasha Alshaikh : Development of long-acting drug delivery systems for ocular diseases, peptide and protein stabilisation, 3D printing, and in vitro disease modelling.
