The Achievement AWARDS
The School of Nursing and Midwifery Annual Achievement Awards is a celebratory occasion to mark the valiant efforts of students who have exhibited excellence in all aspects of university life and will acknowledge students who have made broader societal contributions. Each year the School of Nursing and Midwifery celebrate the achievements of its students, staff and clinical colleagues at the Annual Achievement Awards. Normally held in Brookfield, with proud families and friends looking on, this year the ceremony will be online and will be opened by Professor Josephine Hegarty, Head of School. There will be a special address by the President of UCC, Professor John O' Halloran.
Our frontline health workers have inspired us all in this apprehensive period and our nursing and midwifery students have shown both dedication and resilience. While we cannot hold a physical Awards ceremony we are delighted to have a virtual Awards ceremony celebrating outstanding student nurses and midwives over the past year. - Josephine Hegarty, Head of the School of Nursing and Midwifery.
