23 Aug 2017Dr Shane Hegarty has been a lecturer, researcher and student in the Department of Anatomy and Neuroscience, UCC, over the past 11 years and has now taken up a position as a Research Fellow in the Department of Neurology at Boston Children’s Hospital, Harvard Medical School. Dr Hegarty speaks here about his UCC research work, future research in Harvard and the advice he would give to students considering a career in science.

UCC neuroscientist awarded distinguished scientist prize
