63 students from the university spent a week in the Gaeltacht at the end of May 2026. The students were studying a variety of different subjects and they were awarded scholarships to go to the Gaeltacht. A number of very talented musicians, singers and dancers were in the group and all had an intereste in the Irish language. A special thanks to the mná tí, the teachers, the guest speakers and all those that shared their skills and information with the students.
The sun was splitting the stones every day that the students were here, except the day that they went to Sliabh an Fhiolair!
