Undergraduate Surgery CoOrdinator (4mth Contract)

The Department of Surgery, School of Medicine has a vacancy for an Undergraduate Surgery Coordinator from September 2007to December 2007.

Applicants should ideally hold a clinical qualification (FRCS or MRCS) and have significant teaching experience.  

This is 50% post and the duties will includeco-ordinating the provision of tutorials and lectures for all undergraduate surgical students, co-ordinating all student projects, acting as liaison between the students and the Head of Department and organising all examinations on behalf of the Department of Surgery; in addition to this the Coordinator will represent the Department of Surgery at all School meetings and chair the Undergraduate Surgical Education Committee for the Department.

Salary scale [new entrants]:€63,389 – €83,504 p.a. 50% pro rata
