Senior Lecturer in Life Cycle Energy Systems Engineering for Buildings

UCC seeks a Senior Lecturer / Researcher with theoretical, experimental & practical knowledge of life-cycle energy systems engineering for buildings, covering relevant legislation, current practice, emerging technologies, DBFO life-cycle methodologies, and associated ICT systems.

Candidates must have a PhD qualification, and demonstrate a record of research in energy in buildings in the form of publications, training of PhD students, collaboration with appropriate recognised national and international research centres of excellence, and an ability to attract research grants from national and international funding agencies.

UCC has recently launched two taught Masters (Engineering) Programmes, in Sustainable Energy, and in Information Technology in Architecture, Engineering, and Construction. The successful candidate will be expected to contribute to both and to exercise academic leadership in life cycle energy systems engineering for buildings.

Salary scale (new entrants):  €65,036 – €92,150 p.a.
