Postdoctoral Research Scientist, Dept. of Physiology
POSTDOCTORAL RESEARCH SCIENTIST
DEPARTMENT OF PHYSIOLOGY
A position for a postdoctoral scientist is available from 1 September 2007 for 3 years at the Department of Physiology, University College Cork, Ireland. The successful candidate will work on a Science Foundation Ireland-funded project investigating the molecular mechanisms underlying the excretion of salt by gamma-melanocyte stimulating hormone in the kidney. Some previous experience with in vivo animal studies, cell culture, immunoblotting and immunohistochemistry would be an advantage. Applicants must hold, or be about to obtain, a PhD in a relevant discipline and demonstrate evidence of a research publication record commensurate with career stage and experience.
