Lipid Based Formulation (1)
A position will be available from 1st November 2006 for 16 months for an experienced researcher (Ph.D. in pharmaceutics or a related discipline) in the research group of Professor Caitriona O'Driscoll. The researcher will join an Academic–Industry project focused on the preparation of novel lipid based formulations.
The successful candidate will be part of a dynamic pharmaceutics research team based in the recently established School of Pharmacy, UCC. The School is accommodated in a state-of-the-art purpose-built laboratory facility sited at the heart of a major cluster of pharmaceutical manufacturing.
Experience in the area of lipid based (microemulsion) is desirable.
Marie Curie Transfer of Knowledge Postdoctoral Fellowship in Bio-molecular formulation and bio-pharmaceutics (1)
A position will be available from 1 January 2007 for two years for an Experienced Researcher (Ph.D. or at least four years equivalent research experience in pharmaceutics) in the research group of Professor Caitriona O'Driscoll and Dr. Abina Crean.
The successful candidate will be part of a dynamic pharmaceutics research team based in the recently established School of Pharmacy, UCC. The School is accommodated in a state-of-the-art purpose-built laboratory facility sited at the heart of a major cluster of pharmaceutical manufacturing.
The role will involve establishing expertise in conventional and novel physical characterisation techniques for protein and peptide formulations within the research group. Experience in the physical characterisation of protein and peptide formulations is essential.
The position is open to suitably qualified candidates of any nationality meeting Marie Curie Actions eligibility criteria, see http://ec.europa.eu/research/fp6/mariecurie-actions. Salary is approximately €40,000 plus Marie Curie Actions supplementary supports.
