Postdoctoral Research Fellowship in Crystal Engineering / Molecular Crystallization

A postdoctoral research fellowship is available for one year in the first instance within the Analytical and Biological Chemistry Research Facility (ABCRF), University College Cork.

The research will focus on the crystal engineering, crystallization and/or crystal structure elucidation of drug-like small molecules. The successful candidate will hold a Ph.D. and will have experience of synthetic chemistry and X-ray diffraction. Candidates with experience in crystal engineering and crystallisation are especially welcome.

The research will be carried out within the groups of Prof. A. R. Maguire, Dr. S. E. Lawrence and Dr. H. A. Moynihan within the ABCRF, and forms part of the Solid State Pharmaceutical Cluster, a Science Foundation Ireland Strategic Research Cluster.
