Postdoctoral Fellowships in Biochemistry (3 / 5 Posts)
3-5 postdoctoral positions are available in Professor Cotter’s laboratory to work on the regulation of programmed cell death (apoptosis) at both the basic and applied research levels.The fellowships are supported by Science Foundation Ireland, Enterprise Ireland, Health Research Board and The Irish Cancer Society.The work of the laboratory is focused on the regulation of apoptosis in degenerative conditions of the eye and in the tumour biology area.Successful applicant will join a highly productive laboratory consisting of circa 12 research scientists.
The laboratory is seeking enthusiastic self motivated Ph.D. scientists in either Cell Biology or Biochemistry at least one of whom will have experience of Protein Biochemistry.The duration of the projects range from 18 months to 4 years.Competitive salaries will be offered to suitable candidates.
