Lectureship in Physical/Materials Chemistry

Applicants are invited for a one year, full-time lectureship in the Physical Chemistry/Materials Section of the Chemistry Department within the College of Science , Engineering & Food Science. The successful candidate will have particular research interests in physical/materials science related to Energy/Ergonomic Chemistry.  Considerable research interaction with either/both the Tyndall National Institute and the Environmental Research Institute is expected.  Applicants should have a doctoral qualification in chemistry or materials or a directly related subject.

 

The appointee will be expected to contribute to teaching at undergraduate and postgraduate level in Physical Chemistry along with materials/environmental science.

Salary scale [new entrants]: €36,500 - €59,293. Appointment on the relevant scale will be made commensurate with qualifications and experience.
