Particulars of Post GermanLectureship in German (Two Positions)
College of Arts, Celtic Studies and Social Sciences
Department of German
Applications are invited for the above whole-time permanent posts.
The Department of German is a vibrant active Department offering courses at undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
Applicants must hold a PhD in German or an area related to German Studies or equivalent significant record of publications in German Studies. Applicants must be in a position to contribute significantly to the Department’s research. The appointees will be required to contribute teaching in at least two of the following areas: Commerce and German; Cultural/Intercultural Studies; Drama and Theatre Studies; European History; Film and Media Studies; German as a Foreign Language; Linguistics (including Applied Linguistics); Literary Studies and will be encouraged to contribute to the further development of postgraduate studies in the Department.
Salary scale [new entrants]:€36,500 – €59,293 p.a.
