LECTURER / LECTURER PRACTITIONER (5 POSTS)

School of Nursing and Midwifery
Applications are invited for the above full time permanent College Lectureship / Lecturer Practitioner posts.Applicants will hold professional nursing qualifications and hold registration in one or more divisions of the register held by An Bord Altranais.Application from those holding psychiatric, intellectual disability, children’s, public health nursing or midwifery qualifications will be particularly welcomed.Academic qualifications to Masters Degree level is essential.Appointees to Lectureship posts will be required to commit to completing studies leading to a PhD qualification within a reasonable period of time.Applicants must also demonstrate evidence of progression in research, for example, publications and conference presentations. Experience in teaching both in the classroom and in clinical areas is required.
Post holders will be expected to lecture on aspects of nursing/midwifery associated with their registrable qualification across programmes, especially in the clinical skills laboratory and take some administrative responsibilities
Salary scales [new entrants]: €34,912 - €56,713 Bar €62,146 – €81,867 p.a.
