Lecturer in Physiology
College of Medicine and Health
The Medical School wishes to invite applications for a full-time permanent lectureship in the Department of Physiology. The successful candidates will contribute to the teaching and research activities of the department, and will work with the Director of Medical Education with respect to the teaching of the new medical curriculum.
Candidates should preferably hold an M.D. or Ph.D. in Physiology or a related area. The successful candidate will teach on existing and new programmes delivered by the Department to students in the College of Medicine and Health and the College of Science, Engineering and Food Science. Candidates will have experience in teaching and examining at both basic science and clinical levels and will contribute to curriculum development and course administration. Candidates should have a track record of research publications and demonstrate potential for development of an independent research programme complementary to one of the Departmental strategic research areas.
