LECTURER IN EDUCATION (SPECIAL NEEDS EDUCATION)

Applications are invited for the above whole-time permanent post.  The appointee will have a Postgraduate qualification in Education or a cognate area, or Special Education and have substantial experience in Learning Support teaching, or Resource teaching, or Special Needs teaching together with significant professional experience of involvement in teacher education and continuing professional development.

The appointee will be responsible for supervision of school practice and placement.  S/he will have specific duties in the delivery of the Postgraduate Diploma in Special Education Needs.

Salary scales [new entrants]:  €33,165 – €53,879 /  €34,912 – €56,713 p.a.
