LECTURER IN EDUCATION (MULTICULTURALISM and/or INCLUSIVE EDUCATION)
The appointee will have a PhD or its equivalent or significant progress towards a PhD in education or in a cognate area.S/he will have significant professional experience in teacher education and/or curriculum development and expertise in one or more of the foundation areas of educational studies.The appointee will have experience of leadership and working collaboratively.Research in any major field of educational studies linked to multicultural and/or inclusive education is essential.
The ideal candidate will have familiarity with the culture of Irish education and the ability to contribute to postgraduate education especially in research methodologies.Ability to teach and supervise at doctoral level and to support students from diverse disciplinary and professional backgrounds is desirable.

Salary scale [new entrants]: €34,912 – €81,867
