LECTURER IN EDUCATION (EXERCISE PHYSIOLOGY & COACHING SCIENCE)
College of Arts, Celtic Studies & Social Sciences
Applications are invited for this fulltime permanent post in the Department of Education. The appointee will have aDoctorate in Sport Science or a cognate area, or evidence of significant progress towards a PhD.S/he will have expertise in exercise physiology and demonstrate ability to adapt knowledge to a teaching and coaching context.Experience working within the field of sport and/or PE and/or health are essential. Teaching experience and knowledge of pedagogy and evidence of innovation in teaching approaches is required.Track record of research related to Sport and Physical Activity and/or Coaching and/or Health is desirable. The ability to teach in the practical component of the course is also desirable.

Salary scales [new entrants]: €34,912 – €56,713 p.a.
