Lecturer in Clinical Anatomy

As part of its response to the adoption by Government of the Fottrell report on Medical Education this year, the Medical School wishes to invite applications for two clinical lectureships, one in Department of Anatomy and one in Department of Physiology. The successful candidates will contribute to the teaching and research activities of these departments, and will work with the Director of Medical Education with respect to the teaching of the new medical curriculum.
LECTURER IN CLINICAL ANATOMY
This is full time permanent post.The ideal candidate will be medically qualified and entitled to register with the Irish Medical Council and will have a strong background in teaching basic sciences to medical students. The post will include the development and delivery of teaching programmes integrating anatomy throughout the entire medical curriculum with particular emphasis on the first two years of the medical curriculum. Research interests will complement those of the Department which have a strong interdisciplinary emphasis.

Salary Scale [new entrants]:€60,336 – €79,483 p.a.
