External Room Bookings
The Room Bookings Office offers a range of exceptional opportunities for private hire and can cater for all types of events. We have hosted a wide variety of events, including Conferences, Award Ceremonies, Gala Dinners & Lunches, Book Launches, Networking Events, Photoshoots, School Reunions, Business Meetings and Workshops. We also hire rooms to other Educational Organisations for teaching and training purposes.
We have a variety of unique meeting and event venues across campus, with capacities ranging from 10–60, along with different types of classrooms. This provides options for both large-scale events and smaller, more intimate workshops.
Booking an External Event
Our office can provide information on room availability and costs for external once-off bookings, ongoing courses, workshops, seminars, meetings and weddings.

Our Venues
Aula Maxima
Located in the historic Main Quadrangle, at the heart of UCC, the Aula Maxima is one of the University’s most impressive and prestigious venues.
The Aula Maxima is suitable for a wide range of events, including Seminars, Concerts, Recitals, Theatrical Productions, Weddings and other prestigious functions. It can accommodate up to 228 people seated or 300 people standing, while Gala Dinners & Lunches can accommodate up to 160 people.
Weddings: Due to the academic calendar, the Aula Maxima is only available for weddings at certain times of the year. For availability and further information, please contact the Room Bookings Office at roombookings@ucc.ie or 021 490 3588.

Dora Allman Room
Located on the top floor of the Hub Building, the Dr Dora Allman Room is an exceptional multifunctional space and the ultimate destination venue in UCC.
With panoramic views of the campus surroundings, the room is suitable for a wide range of events, including high-profile events, conferences, ceremonies, exhibitions, performances, meetings, social events and more.
The Viewing Window, located next to the Dr Dora Allman Room, offers an outstanding view of the Main Quad and provides an additional feature for events held in the space.

The Hub Building
The Hub Building also offers a range of additional meeting and event venues, providing flexible spaces for smaller meetings, presentations and events.
The Áine Hyland Room is a dedicated meeting space with capacity for up to 20 people, making it suitable for smaller meetings and gatherings.
The Shtepps is an auditorium-styled hall with tiered timber seating and is equipped with audio and video facilities. With a capacity of 50 people, it can be booked for performances, guest speakers, movie screenings and other events.
