Nanofabrication Facility

This project was one of UCC's PRTLI (Programme for Research in Third Level Insitutions) - Cycle I approved projects. The project was based at the NMRC in the Maltings. It involved the refurbishment of existing space within the NMRC to accommodate £7.36m of key research equipment (e-beam lithography system, cluster etching system, deep trench etcher, photolithography printing, microscopes, stone boxes, spectroscopy etc.). The refurbishment cost was £2.1m (€2.7m).
