Internal Gateway
This project was a key element of the privately funded Campus Environmental Plan. The project significantly improves access from the main gates and main avenue to the President's Garden, Student Centre, Boole Library and O'Rahilly Building. The project included a new wide staircase in granite and slate (see picture) and a new pathway along the
historical stone wall of the Presidents Garden to link with the proposed Honan Square. The project included new lighting along the main avenue and new street furniture (seats, bins).
