Áras na Mac Léinn Cafés and Bar

Áras na Mac Léinn offers a range of dining and social spaces designed to meet the needs of students, staff and visitors throughout the day. Café Oasis on the ground floor serves freshly brewed teas and coffees, pastries, hot deli favourites, sandwiches, wraps and toasted paninis, while Upstairs Café on the first floor provides a selection of freshly made salads, gourmet sandwiches and healthy options, including vegan, vegetarian and gluten-free choices.

The New Bar & Bistro complements these cafés with an extensive food menu featuring pizzas, burgers, wraps and loaded fries, alongside a vibrant social atmosphere. As the only licensed bar on campus, it hosts live music, quiz nights, trad sessions and club and society events during term time, making Áras na Mac Léinn a central destination for food, refreshments and student life.

Club Áras / The New Bar

The New Bar & Bistro located on the 1st floor serves fantastic food all day

Lunches include Pizza, Loaded Fries, Wraps, Baguettes and Burgers. 

The New Bar is the only licensed bar on campus at UCC and is located on the first floor at Áras na Mac Léinn. The bar becomes the social hub on campus during term time.

During term time, New Bar hosts:
