Ireland’s construction sector will continue to disrupt housing markets unless systematic changes are implemented, a leading planning expert has warned. Dr Nicholas Mansergh MIPI will address UCC public lecture on 20 May. Event hosted by UCC Centre for Planning Education and Research and the Irish Planning Institute.

UCC student films to be showcased at Fastnet Film Festival
Films created by UCC students will be screened at Fastnet Film Festival. UCC students will feature in festival programme alongside Paul Mescal, Daisy Edgar Jones and Lenny Abrahamson. UCC is ranked in top 100 universities worldwide for performing arts.

UCC announces scholarship in honour of trailblazing music pioneer
Emmy award winning and Oscar nominated sound designer Douglas Murray funds UCC scholarship. The scholarship honours Dr Danijela Kulezic-Wilson, a distinguished scholar of music and lecturer at UCC School of Film, Music and Theatre. The successful candidate will be awarded a scholarship of US$38,750 over three years.
