WeedTraits Featured in RTE Brainstorm!

We are excited to share that the WeedTraits project has been featured in a recent RTÉ Brainstorm article titled "5 Research Projects Seeking to Make Farming More Sustainable".
RTÉ Brainstorm is a collaboration between RTÉ and several Irish universities, including University College Cork, University of Limerick, DCU, Technological University Dublin, and Maynooth University. It also partners with the Irish Research Council, Teagasc, and Science Foundation Ireland. The platform allows researchers to contribute to public discussions and share insights on a wide range of interesting topics.
In the article, WeedTraits is recognized for our research into the physiological and molecular processes that influence weediness traits. Our work focuses on how these traits impact the competition between weeds and cereal crops, contributing to the development of more sustainable weed management strategies and reducing the need for chemical herbicides.

We are grateful to RTÉ Brainstorm for featuring our project and highlighting its role in advancing sustainable farming techniques.
