Our Research Lab Awarded Platinum Level My Green Lab Certification

We are very proud to share that our research lab at the School of Biological, Earth and Environmental Sciences in University College Cork has been awarded Platinum Level Certification by My Green Lab. This is a fantastic recognition of our commitment to make our research activities more sustainable and respectful with the environment.

Achieving Platinum Level puts us among the leading labs in Ireland working for greener research practices, as part of the Research Ireland Pilot Programme. It’s a great reminder of what we can achieve when we work together towards a more sustainable future.

Of course, this is only the beginning. We are excited to keep improving and to help create more positive changes, not only in our own lab but hopefully across the whole university too. Well done to everyone who made this possible!
