Networking event celebrating the International Day of Women and Girls in Science at UCC’s Aula Maxima

We had the pleasure of attending the International Day of Women and Girls in Science event in Aula Maxima at UCC. 

Professor Astrid Wingler, the Principal Investigator of our project, was featured in a visual display celebrating senior female academics and their career journeys, showing the impact women have in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM).

The photos below include moments from the day, along with images of two of our female project members, Lucía and Marie, working in the lab, in the glasshouse, and taking part in outreach activities.
