The work of the TARA Project Phase 2 will be presented at ESWRA 2026.
Trauma-informed practice has emerged as increasingly important in child welfare service delivery, yet implementing these approaches within existing organisational structures remains challenging. This paper examines the TARA Project, a research collaboration between University College Cork (UCC) and the Dublin South Central Area of TUSLA - Child and Family Agency, Ireland. The project aims to systematically integrate trauma-informed practices across the service area, enhancing professionals' capacity to address the complex needs of children and families.
