Student Travel grant awarded to Tengfei Lyu from the IEEE Vehicular Technology Society (VTS)
Congratulations to Tengfei Lyu who was the recipient of a Student Travel grant award from the IEEE Vehicular Technology Society (VTS) when he recently attended the 102nd IEEE Vehicular Technology Conference (VTC-Fall) in Chengdu, China. The award was granted based on the merits of the application and the quality of the accepted paper.
Tengfei presented a paper entitled “Filtering Noise: A Real-World Evaluation of False Associations in V2X-Based Sensor Sharing Across Diverse Road Users” with his supervisors Dr Aisling O’ Driscoll, Prof Dirk Pesch and Dr Md Noor-a-Rahim. This work was a collaboration with Dr. Florian Schiegg (Robert Bosch GMBH) and Dr. Clarissa Boeker (German Aerospace Centre DLR).
VTC is the longest running and well established IEEE conference. It is held bi-annually with separate Spring and Fall editions and is a premier conference for wireless, mobile and vehicular technology.
