UCC researcher to lead project on food related inequality across Europe
13 Jun 2024- FOODPATH is an initiative dedicated to identifying and addressing the determinants of food-related inequalities in Europe.
- The €1.6 million project includes partners from six European countries and is led by Dr Janas Harrington in the School of Public Health at UCC.
- FOODPATH will provide the necessary structural changes to ensure all European citizens, regardless of socioeconomic status, can make healthier food choices.

Excellence in research and innovation celebrated at UCC awards
30 May 2024One of the top 10 Food Scientists in the world, researchers in the area of dementia palliative care, and the team behind the development and delivery of bespoke in person Sexual Ethics and Respectful Relationships training to personnel of the Irish Defence Forces across the country, were among the awardees to have their contributions to research and innovation honoured at the 2023 University College Cork Research and Innovation Awards, held at Devere Hall on Wednesday, May 29th.
