We welcomed over 600 people to UCC for the Cork Fossil Expo during Science Week to celebrate Geoscience Day. The event featured interactive fossil-themed activities, including hands-on games, puzzles and lots of real fossils from Ireland and around the world. Four local Cork schools (North Monastery, St Vincents, Glasheen Girls and St Maries of the Isle) had the opportunity to visit the expo for a closed event during the morning before we opened up to the very enthusiastic public for the evening event. The entire event engaged with 640 people!
