On 6 and 7 November 2025, the 2nd Global Citizen Science for Health Conference was held in Zurich, Switzerland. The conference was an important forum for discussion on the current state of citizen science development, the exchange of experiences in carrying out research based on this concept, and future prospects for conducting scientific projects taking into account the voice and involvement of citizens.

FOODPATH had a strong presence at the conference, with several project partners in attendance. The teams delivered both oral and poster presentations, showcasing the project’s initial findings to a broader audience. Notably, results from WP1 highlighted the use of the Group Model Building technique, which engaged representatives from low socio-economic communities to help researchers map the systemic factors contributing to inequalities in access to healthy diets.
