Professor Didier Bigo will speak at the Political Technologies seminar

We are delighted to welcome Professor Didier Bigo to UCC. Professor Bigo is one of the most significant thinkers in Critical Security Studies and a founder of the 'Paris School' of the discipline. He will be presenting a recent article, which draws and reflects on Michel Foucault's legacy. Please join us at 4pm (Irish time and UK time) on Tuesday 27th January 2026 in the Council Chamber at UCC, or online. This seminar is organised in conjunction with the Department of French.
