Airborne monitoring of nitrogen oxides in the upper troposphere lower stratosphere (CARIBIC)
The research aims at the implementation of an instrument (CARDINO) in an airborne monitoring missions (CARIBIC) using a commercial Lufthansa aircraft, coordinated by collaborators at Karlsruhe Institute of Technology within the context of the IAGOS network. CARDINO is designed to detect the nitrogen oxides NO2, NO3, and N2O5, as well as ozone (O3).
