Students of the UNIC joint master's programme RePIC MSc (Redesigning the Post-Industrial City) reflect on their experience of the CityLabs Week in Cork in January 2024, when they got the opportunity to collaborate and co-create responses to societal challenges alongside Cork community groups and city council staff. 

Student reps from four UNIC partners took part in the Model EU event hosted in February by the UCC Law Society on campus. UCC UNIC student rep Alex Sheehan took the initiative to invite his counterparts from across the UNIC network.

UCC UNIC student representatives Alex and Diane held a Lingua Café to promote multilingualism, arts and culture on the UCC campus.

The European Learning and Teaching Forum proved a connecting point for Vice Rectors in four of the Universities comprising the UNIC Alliance.

Applications for 2024 entry to the RePIC joint master's programme will close on March 1 2024.

Students of the unique joint master’s programme RePIC (Redesigning the Post-Industrial City MSc) were welcomed to Cork on the 8th to 12th of January for the UNIC CityLabs Week as part of their two-year course. 

University College Cork has received €391,300 in additional national funding to support participation in the European University Alliance, UNIC (the European University of Cities in Post-Industrial Transition).
