Seven University College Cork colleagues from the Access UCC team visited Malmö University, Sweden, on May 20-23 2024, participating in a workshop hosted by counterpart colleagues involved in Widened Recruitment and Widened Participation areas of the university.

Aoife Dowling, project manager on UNIC at UCC, participated in a UNIC Communications Staff Week at Erasmus University Rotterdam on 4-5 June 2024.

Dr Claire Dorrity is a lecturer in social policy in the School of Applied Social Studies at University College Cork. She is the UCC academic co-ordinator of a new UNIC joint programme, the MA SEOS.

University College Cork in conjunction with Cork Child Friendly Cities is hosting a webinar to share best practices and experiences on the development of Child Friendly City Initiatives within the UNIC network. 

The new joint Master's programme SEOS (Superdiversity in Education, Organisations and Society) is delivered by eight UNIC partner universities, including University College Cork.

Mairéad Loughman is a Risk Manager in the Office of Corporate and Legal Affairs at University College Cork. Mairéad recently travelled to Erasmus University Rotterdam on an Erasmus+ staff training visit.

Dr Silvia Brandi, Quality Enhancement Advisor with the Quality Enhancement Unit at University College Cork, recently travelled to the University of Liège, Belgium, on an Erasmus+ staff training visit.
