Biography
Maria's research interest is in the area of health services research, in particular quality improvement, outcomes research, patient safety and health economics. After completing a Masters in Health Economics, she worked as a researcher with the Irish Society for Quality and Safety in Healthcare. She is currently undertaking a PhD on the effectiveness of Patient Reported Outcomes Measures (PROMs) in improving the quality of care for patients undergoing hip replacement surgery.
