Dr. Nikolaos Naziris holds a degree in Pharmacy, an MSc in Industrial Pharmacy, and a PhD in Pharmacy (focused on Pharmaceutical Technology and Nanotechnology) from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens (NKUA) in Greece. He served as Postdoctoral Researcher at the NKUA from 2019 to 2021, Adjunct Professor at the University of Lodz in Poland from 2021 to 2022, and Director of Operations at Doctor’s Labs, In Touch Health Co. LTD—a food supplement manufacturing facility in Greece—from 2022 to 2025, while continuing as a post-doc.

He has participated in several European and national research projects focused on the development of advanced nanotechnology-based drug delivery systems and therapeutic formulations. Additionally, he has been in close collaboration with the Greek pharmaceutical industry on projects aimed at creating innovative nutraceutical products. He has more than forty published papers in peer-reviewed journals, including five review papers, five book chapters, as well as fifteen oral and more than twenty poster presentations in international and national conferences.

Dr. Naziris is a regular member of the Hellenic Pharmaceutical Society (HPS), a past member of the Hellenic Society of Nanotechnology in Health Sciences (HSnanoHS), and an active member of several scientific societies.

He is currently a postdoctoral researcher in Prof. Brendan Griffin's group, working on the development of medicines for low-income countries using artificial intelligence and machine learning tools—a project funded by the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation.
