At an exciting event this week at the School of Pharmacy,
forty students from Munster secondary schools attended an Open Day on 29th June
designed to enhance their understanding of Pharmacy as a discipline, the UCC
Pharmacy degree program and career opportunities in Pharmacy. The purpose of the initiative was to help
inform students who may be considering a career in Pharmacy or the
Pharmaceutical Sciences. The focus of
the day centred on providing the attendees with an appreciation for the
disciplines which underpin the B.Pharm programme and also to explore the many
career opportunities open to the graduate pharmacist.
