Modern Irish postgrad launches new CD
A new double CD has been launched by Modern Irish postgrad, Míchéal Ó Drisleáin. The CDs comprise material, spoken and sung, collected by Dr Piaras de Hindeberg many years ago in the Waterford Gaeltacht. This is part of the material in the archives of Coláiste na Rinne, which forms the subject-matter of Míchéal’s PhD thesis.
Míchéal is a native of Ballyduff in west-Waterford, and last year was awarded the title of ‘Newcomer of the Year’ at the PPI Radio Awards.
The CD is entitled ‘An grá dod dhúchas’, and it is available from 087-7938709.
